David Grossman is President (2015–2017) of ico-D, the International Council of Design. Most recently, David was a member of the Steering Committee that organized the first international Design Summit Meeting in Montreal that launched the Montreal Design Declaration. He has lectured and served on juries in many countries and has organized and curated many design exhibitions and events. Of late he has been very active in developing the design industry infrastructure in China. He is an environmental graphic designer and has many years of experience as a practicing designer, educator and activist in the international design community. He was the first President of the Israel Community of Designers, Israel’s national multidisciplinary professional design association and a Past President of Icograda.
