Sputniko! (Hiromi Ozaki)

Sputniko! is a Japanese/British artist based in Tokyo. After majoring in Mathematics and Computer Science at Imperial College, London, she went on to pursue a Masters in Design Interactions at the Royal College of Art.  Sputniko! is known for her film and multi-media installation works which are inspired by how technology changes society and people’s values. From 2017, Sputniko became an Project Associate Professor at the University of Tokyo where she is furthering her work with the RCA–IIS Design Lab.  From 2013 to 2017, Sputniko! was an Assistant Professor at the MIT Media Lab, where she directed the Design Fiction research group.
